As the PGA Tour embarks on the 2025 portion of its schedule this weekend in Maui, it faces a fractured world. In a piece on the website Sportico, tour commissioner Jay Monahan attempted to sugarcoat the sport’s big elephant in the room, highlighting all of the game’s accomplishments in 2024, while making only a passing reference to the dispute with LIV Golf, without mentioning the competition by name.
