The story about the Yankees caps made me smile. I played my first year of Little League in 1969 in Glastonbury, Connecticut for a team called the Yankees. They issued us Yankees caps and t-shirts. While I was thrilled to be playing on a Little League team as a Red Sox fan I was horrified to wear a Yankees cap. I worked through it and played pretty well that season and even hit a grand slam. That was a great time to grow up.
