MLB's wild card is working

Have you noticed the two wild card races in Major League Baseball? Entering the final stretch of the season, both the American League and National League wild card races are up for grabs among several clubs. As I explain in this episode of The Sportscaster Dan podcast, the system may be flawed and in need of tweaking, but overall, the tight battles in both leagues, heading down the stretch, are what MLB intended in order to maintain interest in September.
