New York Mets multi-billionaire owner Steve Cohen shocked the baseball world on Wednesday morning, announcing that he had reached a deal with agent Scott Boras to sign Carlos Correa, free-agent infielder. Cohen dropped another $300+M to bring his annual payroll to nearly $400M. His luxury tax of $111M is higher than the payroll of 10 other MLB clubs.
